welcome...
When I asked my dear friend Jamie Jo how I could thank her for providing us the amazing opportunity of our next three weeks, she said, "Blog each day!" and set up this blog for us. So, we have joined the blogging world and are grateful you will join us on our exciting journey. On Monday, we will join my parents for an incredible week in Washington D.C. The kids have read books, written reports (yes, I am THAT mom...), watched Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian and National Treasure over and over, and we are ready for a terrific time learning lots of national history from our own personal tour guide, my Dad! Then, on July 2nd, Brett, Kenna and I will kiss Kayla and Carver goodbye and join our team from Camp Kivu for our trip to Rwanda! It will be VERY hard to leave Kayla and Carver, but they are super excited to drive back to Texas with Nana and Baba enjoying the sights along the way. We will join up again in DFW on July 14th and will fly back to Durango together. We will blog throughout our trip with pictures and video, so thanks for traveling with us:)!

Glad to have you join us. It'll be great to keep up with your family & all God is doing in & through you. One suggestion: Might add a Feedburner email subscription widget that should be an option here on blogger. Or just follow the directions after clicking on mine at www.aaronhouseholder.net. That way everybody who emails can get your updates & not just the RSS crowd. Blessings on you trip, DC & Rwanda.
